FAQS for New Agape Volunteers:

How do I get started as a volunteer at Agape?  Please see our Volunteer Onboarding Checklist, HERE.

I received a background check error, what do I do? New volunteers who are 18 years or older are required to complete a background check. After creating an account on Volunteer Hub, you will be prompted to complete this check. Once the background check is completed and cleared, usually within 48-72 hours, you will be able to log in. (see above)

How do I sign up for an available volunteer opportunity? Log in to your VolunteerHub account and browse the volunteer calendar for available opportunities. Select the opportunity that best fits your schedule and register.

Can I make my meal at home for the students? No, due to health and safety regulations, we cannot allow food to be prepared outside of our health-regulated kitchen.

How much does it cost to feed a student at Agape? The cost to feed a student is approximately $8.00. We serve an estimated 200 students at the Center.

Can I buy a meal from a grocery store instead of ordering from a restaurant? Yes, you are welcome to purchase items for your meals from grocery stores such as Publix, Kroger, Costco, or Sam’s Club, or order meals from restaurants.
