Welcome to the Agape Family! As a new volunteer, here’s everything you need to know to begin your journey with us.

For a comprehensive overview here are the steps to get started:
(1) Create Your VolunteerHub Account:
If you’re UNDER 18 use this [LINK].
If you’re 18 AND OLDER use this [LINK].
Background Check: Required if you’re 18 or older. It’s free and usually takes about 48 hours to process.
Under 18? If you see a background check error, don’t worry—allow up to 48 hours for it to clear. If the issue persists, please contact the Volunteer Coordinator, hblair@agapeatlanta.org, for assistance.
Fill out the Volunteer Agreement form on VolunteerHub; once submitted, it will appear under as “Volunteer Agreement” in the Waivers section of your VolunteerHub account.
(2) Complete the Virtual Orientation:
Watch the short video presentation to learn about Agape’s mission, programs, and community impact.
(3) Take the Volunteer Orientation Quiz:
Finish the brief quiz after the orientation to confirm your understanding.
(4) Choose Your Volunteer Path:
Dinner Sponsors: Watch the short training video, pick a meal date on VolunteerHub, and arrive 20–30 minutes before dinner starts.
Homework Buddies, Math Mentors, or Literacy Leaders: Complete the “Agape Virtual Volunteer Training” and submit the “Virtual Volunteer Training Acknowledgement Form.”
Additional Steps for Literacy Leaders: Complete four short training courses through Cox Campus. Email Hunter Blair the Volunteer Coordinator, hblair@agapeatlanta.org, to get started.
RAGTime (Senior Citizen Programming): Check VolunteerHub for current activities or meal sponsorship opportunities.
