Agape empowers and supports underserved families within its community to discover, embrace, and achieve their full potential.
Agape achieves this mission by providing academic support and family services focusing on character development, academic achievement, reading proficiency by third grade, successful high school graduation and post-graduation placement. Additionally, Agape hosts several community outreach and fundraising events to support and expand its mission. Check them out below!
Spring Benefit
Join us for the 2024 Agape Spring Benefit which is a fundraiser event that brings together metro Atlanta’s civic, corporate and community leaders. This year’s Night of Hope will bring the mission of Agape comes to life. Plan to join us for an exciting evening that includes a live auction, entertainment and an opportunity to learn why Agape is vital to the success of Atlanta’s youth.
Back To School Bonanza
Join Agape in our efforts to provide backpacks & school supplies to over 1,500 kids in need as they get ready to start the new school year at our annual drive.
Last year, Agape distributed over 3,900 backpacks full of school supplies. Feel free to get involved by holding your own backpack drives or sponsoring a backpack filled with supplies for $50 per child! Next year’s give-away will be on Friday, July 29 at Agape and volunteer sign up begins June 1, 2022!
Extreme Bedroom Makeover
In learning more about our families, Agape discovered that many of the children in our programs had little to no furniture at all. Agape’s Extreme Bedroom Makeover began in 2010, with volunteer teams providing new paint, new bedrooms and a whole new outlook for 170 children in need and counting! Stay tuned for details for next year’s makeover weekend.

Join thousands of people worldwide in supporting the non-profit cause nearest to their heart on Giving Tuesday. Following Black Friday and Cyber Monday, we will celebrate Agape’s mission to end the cycle of generational poverty, one child at a time.

5K Run For Love
This event brings together mothers and daughters, mentors and mentees and friend groups for a morning of empowerment and networking, while underscoring the message that each girl and woman has the unique ability to influence her environments in a dynamic and positive manner. Next year, come be inspired as we enlighten the next generation of women leaders to make a difference in their communities and the world at large.
Holiday Gift Store
Join us for the annual Agape Holiday Gift Store which in partnership with you, provides gifts for over 600 children from under-served families each year. Our gymnasium will transform into a winter wonderland store staffed by volunteers for two days of “shopping”, gift wrapping, holiday music, cheer and most of all hope.
