This year’s Holiday Gift Store will take place December 11-15th.
With the help of the community, Agape’s Holiday Gift Store provided gifts for more than 350 children from under-served families. Agape’s first floor community room is transformed into a holiday gift store staffed by volunteers for a full week for family holiday “shopping” from gift donations.
Families from the community would not enjoy the thrill of the gift giving season if it weren’t for the support of so many volunteers and generous contributors. Many of us witnessed hugs, smiles, tears and even appreciative kisses from the “shoppers”.
To get more involved with the 2017 Holiday Gift Store:
- Host a holiday gift drive in your office, school, neighborhood, or place of worship. Use the Agape Holiday Gift Store Wish List to determine who will purchase what.
- Volunteer your time! 125 volunteers are needed to assist parent shoppers, wrap presents, staff the store, and help distribute gifts.
