THE 2017 MOTHER DAUGHTER TEA
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 5 IN THE ELEGANT BALLROOM AT PIEDMONT DRIVING CLUB
A delectable time, place and cause!
Join Agape at the Mother Daughter Tea and help kick off the most wonderful time of the year! The Tea is an annual social for middle school girls and their moms to benefit youth development and education programming at Agape. This intimate, fun-filled affair was held at the Piedmont Driving Club and is an amazing event to form stronger bonds, create memories and celebrate mothers and daughters.
Agape empowers and supports underserved families within northwest Atlanta to discover and embrace their full potential. Agape’s service area includes over 2,000 school-aged children in a community that is challenged by generational poverty, high crime and high student dropout rates, and much more. All Agape youth participants are eligible for the free or reduced lunch program based on family income. 98% of Agape students in the afterschool program were promoted to the next grade. 69% of Agape students achieved a 3.0 grade point average the first semester of the 2016-2017 school year. 100% of the high school seniors in our mentoring program have graduated high school, since 2009. Our programs work, thanks to the support of our donors, volunteers and friends. Come and be a part of it!
