Great Backpack Give-Away

Agape would like to invite you to send a volunteer team of 5 to

The Great Backpack Give-Away at Agape on July 28, 2017!

Each year Agape collects and distributes backpacks filled with school supplies to 2,000+ local kids in need. Corporate friends and supporters host backpack drives and volunteer for Backpack Prep Day and Distribution Day making each year a tremendous success.

Volunteer signup will begin June 1, 2017

PLEASE CLICK HERE TO SPONSOR ONE OR MORE STUDENTS FOR $50 EACH!

You can join this effort in a few ways:

  • Host a drive or sponsor a child
  • Sign up for a preparation shift for July 26th from either 10am-1pm or 1pm-4pm
  • Sign up to distribute backpacks on July 28th from 8am-1pm

Last year, on July 29, Agape provided backpacks filled with school supplies for more than 2,200 children! This was made possible with the help of 100 plus volunteers who organized and executed the event. Volunteer teams from Argos, The Atlanta Women’s Foundation, N3, The National Charity League–Buckhead Chapter, Novelis, Peachtree Road United Methodist Church, Regions Bank, Trinity Presbyterian Church, UPS, Wells Fargo and The Zeist Company worked on this year’s give-away.
