Gear Up for The Great Backpack Give-Away!

Picture12016 Great Backpack Give-Away will be held on Friday, July 29 at Agape!

Every year, community support exceeds our imagination and allows Agape to provide backpacks filled with school supplies to hundreds of children in need. We are excited this year to team up with you again this year to make this event a huge success!

Donations and supplies to be collected and dropped off through July 22nd. For a shopping list, please CLICK HERE.

You can join this effort in a few ways:

  • Host a drive or sponsor a child
  • Sign up for a preparation shift for July 27th from either 10am-1pm or 1pm-4pm
  • Sign up to distribute backpacks on July 29th from 8am-1pm

Last year, on July 31, Agape provided backpacks filled with school supplies for more than 1,900 children! This was made possible with the help of 100 plus volunteers who organized and executed the event. Volunteer teams from Argos, The Atlanta Women’s Foundation, N3, The National Charity League–Buckhead Chapter, Novelis, Peachtree Road United Methodist Church, Regions Bank, Trinity Presbyterian Church, UPS, Wells Fargo and The Zeist Company worked on this year’s give-away.
